For people already caring for a family member or loved one. Crown Caregivers may be able to help you take the required steps toward becoming their paid caregiver. This opportunity is for people whose loved one is approved for Medicaid personal care services, or who want guidance in determining whether their loved one may qualify.

What you’ll do

  • Continue providing care for your own family member or loved one.
  • If your loved one is already approved, complete the required caregiver onboarding steps to potentially begin paid employment.
  • If your loved one is not approved, work with Crown Caregivers to determine whether they may qualify for Medicaid personal care services.
  • Provide care within Medicaid and program requirements, the approved care plan, and authorized service hours.

What the role calls for

  • You are already caring for your own family member or loved one.
  • Your loved one is approved for Medicaid personal care services, or your family wants guidance in determining potential eligibility.
  • Approval, employment, payment, and service hours are not guaranteed and remain subject to Medicaid and program requirements.
